Burgers have earned a very special place in our society, and the willingness of burger brands to be loud and disruptive got me thinking. In my imagination, STACKS is a new burger joint, opening in big cities to compete with Shake Shack and the like. I used STACKS as my canvas to experiment with patterns, typeface, and big, bold treatments. Here, you'll see the visual identity for STACKS' offline and online applications. 


From the beginning, I knew I wanted to create something playful and cheeky, above and beyond what's currently in the market. This branding should turn heads, a necessity for a theoretical competitor of Shake Shack. The palette and style are designed to be unique to the restaurant category, a bold combination of colors and distinctive fonts that look more like pop art than print ads. Added bonus: they make you hungry just looking at them.
